They have the county's Botanical Gardens, a golf course, a sledding hill, Wehr Nature Center, multiple playgrounds, several picnic areas and miles of trails. Who can ask for more than that? The park is absolutely huge - so much so that I'm often lost when driving through it. Even on a busy summer day, you can find a quiet corner.

The 660-acre Whitnall Park is located in Hales Corners and encompasses the world-famous 50-acre Boerner Botanical Gardens and Wehr Nature Center. Whitnall Pond is an area with many photographic possibilities, in the fall you get the colors, the spring you get fog forming on the lake almost daily.

The Boerner Botanical Gardens Grand Hall features a 21-by-21 dance floor, two 6-by-8 risers, 60-inch round tables for eight guests each, and upholstered-style chairs.
